Hello Diane,

I have read your husband's blog intermittently for over a year, but hadn't picked up that he was married to an American! So another expat to keep up with...

Your new blog looks fascinating. I am also very interested in ch-ch-ch-ch-changes. I like to document some of them that are happening around me in the area of rural France where I live, but am also keen on technological change, changes in relationships due to Web 2.0, etc.

I've put you on my Google Reader (I limit myself to 50 slots, so you should feel honored, LOL!)

As a forty-something (is that your age group?) I feel like the past few years have been a true time of metamophosis for me too. Blogging has helped me keep this process positive.

DianeCA: Guilty...I am a 40 something as well LOL! I feel like I am reaching a new high point in my life in relation to understanding much more about 'how things work' for example...and what is important and what is not worth getting worked up over. I am honored to have a slot!!!

More to come...

Sounds like the sort of blog I like. I often describe my blog and blogging activities as engaging in micro-conversations (I want more than, "Hi! Nice post.", but less than several hours of conversation over coffee.)

I haven't read Ovid. Maybe I will, maybe I won't.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.

DianeCA: Hi Richard! Thanks for popping in to my world. I hope to keep the blog interesting for my readers. I have high goals now...we'll see how I hold up. I took a course in classic literture at The University of NY about a century ago (smile) and the metaphor seemed to fit my life right now.

I'm sure the study of metamorphose must be very, very interesting. I did studies in law several years ago and have a master of Public Law. Bit the best things have an end (I love study) and I have to work because To found a family you need money! And I wanted a lot of time for my family. So I became teacher in primary school because you didn't need to go away in onother country of France. And Primary teacher was , as so many little girls my first wishes when I was a child. Even if I don'.'t use in my daily worklife my old knowiing in law I have always keep the want to study and learn forever. So I enjoy there are blogs like yours!

DianeCA: We have a lot in common as I have earlier worked in a school and a preschool. Working with children may well be more rewarding that Law anyway. I also love to study and learn, but it means I am one busy lady. I study full time and work 50%-plus being Mrs. RennyBA and kids. But then life is an adventure!

Congratulations on what promises to be a most fascinating blog! I look forward to reading your posts because your theme echoes my original intention. I've wandered away from the straight and narrow but isn't that what it's all about? Growth can sometimes take you in unexpected directions.

DianeCA We need to wander where life takes us. Life can't be lived on the straight and narrow you know, the fun is in the hills and the curves! Thanks so much for stopping by, its exciting to have people to 'talk' to here!

Well you always told me education pays, and I am here to show that it pays in more ways then just financially. Thanks for always supporting me!
